With the Practice Group Infrastructure & Public Services Ising International Consulting advises companies in, amongst others, the following sectors

  • PPP / BOT project companies
  • Health care and charities
  • Foundations, clerical and cultural organizations
For the sector infrastructure and public services the requirements and economic conditions have drastically changed - and by international comparison, Germany still has some catching up to do concerning this process, which involves a corresponding growth potential.

In the past, a great deal of services have been financed and aided by the state, the provinces or the communes. In the meantime, part or all of this aid has ceased. In consequence, services provided by the public sector up until now are increasingly brought to companies whose corporate law foundations correspond with current corporate structures. New organizational structures mirror the demands on modern service organizations, which is reflected in corporate culture and in the demands on employees and executives.

Alternatively, private firms increasingly assume financing and operating of traditionally public tasks, such as, amongst others, airports, delivery services, rail traffic, health care services or waste removal. Thus, private companies increasingly enter the infrastructure sector.

In both cases, public authorities often being shareholders and in view of particular public interests, particular conditions and values apply. These need to be taken into consideration when recruiting personnel. By linking up our practice expertise, the experiences and contacts of other sectors, for instance financial services, professional services or our international organization (iicpartners.com) expand into the particular consulting mandates and thus are an additional safeguard of our successful activity.
